This week with the one and only RayDilla aka Strongs Souls from Chicago. Glad to have him in the show. Enjoy.

BIO

• 1989 - Joined WKKC radio.

• 1991 - Toured with house music legend Larry Heard.

• 1992 - Co-produced (along with Larry Heard) his first record under
the name Strong Souls. (Black Market)

• 1993 - Produced his second E.P.(along with Kamal Sharif) under
the name Strong Souls. (Dance Mania)

• 1994 - Produced his third E.P. under the name Ray Funnye’
(Chicago Style, ACV)

• 1996 - Co-produced an E.P. along with Robert Armani and
Alvin Carr a.k.a. DJ Feedback. (Dance Mania)

• 2013 – Produced the “Mind Flight” E.P. (RayDilla). (Released on Pulp)

• 2013 – Produced the “Remember When” E.P. (Strong Souls). (Released on D3 Elements)

• 2014 – Produced the “Acceleration” E.P. (RayDilla). (Released on Pulp)

• 2015 – Produced the “Deep Sensation” E.P. (Strong Souls). (Released on D3 Elements)

These are just some of the musical facts about this 25 year plus veteran from Chicago, IL (U.S.A.). Raymond "RayDilla" Funnye (pronounced fun-nay) a.k.a. Strong Souls, has also held residencies at some of the hottest clubs in Chicago. He’s made numerous guest deejay appearances at many clubs, and venues, has over 100 mix CD's to his credit, continues to produce music, and for a decade, was a member of WKKC's Friday Night Audio (Chicago). So it goes to show you that House Music is not dead, and because you don't hear about a deejay or an artist for awhile doesn't mean they’ve fell off; they may just be under the radar. That’s why we call it UNDERGROUND.
