Bio (Germany): Wer Renard aus Magdeburg einmal als DJ hören durfte oder sich mit ihm über Musik ausgetauscht hat, wird mit an Sicherheit grenzender Wahrscheinlichkeit sofort bestätigen wollen, dass Leidenschaft und Spaß seine zentralen Triebkräfte und Motivationsquelle darstellen. Bereits seit 1998 ist er Vinylsammler und seine unermüdliche Begeisterungsfähigkeit für House Music, vor allem für Sounds zwischen Chicago House, Deep House und Disco, treibt ihn nicht nur als DJ immer wieder an. Auch als Produzent verfeinert Renard seit 2005 sein Gespür für Grooves, Flow und Harmonien die bewegen. So schafft er es wie wenige andere als musikalischer Alleinunterhalter seine Geschichte über verschiedene Genres und Epochen von House Music so zu erzählen, dass die Erkenntnis seiner Zuhörer meist unweigerlich lautet: „Komm lass uns tanzen!“ Darüber hinaus ist er essenzieller Bestandteil der Soultunes Crew, einer kleinen Gruppe aus musikalisch Gleichgesinnten, die mit ganz viel Hingabe an einem Podcast, einem Blog, einer kleinen Veranstaltungsreihe, sowie weiteren ehrgeizigen Projekten arbeiten. Man sollte ihn also nicht aus den Augen verlieren, denn wer weiss was die Zukunft noch so bringt …
Bio (english): Probably everybody who had the pleasure to hear Renard play or got into talking about music with him will surely confirm that passion and fun build his main sources of motivation. As a vinyl collector since 1998 his enthusiasm for the sounds of Chicago House, Deep House and Disco is an ongoing companion which is permanently pushing him forward, not only as a dj. In 2005 he also started producing own tracks and is refining his keen instinct on grooves, flow and harmonies ever since. By carrying these strong feelings with him to every gig, Renard counts to that kind of djs, who can make the people understand why he loves what he does while they feel the uncontrollable need to move. Furthermore he is an essential part of the Soultunes crew, a small collective of likeminded music passionates that is running a podcast, a blog and a party series. You’ll better keep an eye on Renard because there are definitely some more things coming up …
