Bio:

Born & raised in South Africa and residing in Johannesburg following several years studying in Cape Town, Jazzuelle made he’s album debut on June 16 featuring the likes of Fred Everything, Lars Behrenroth, Da Capo, Matthias Vogt and more on one of the most prolific labels in Europe, Get Physical Music, which previously championed artists like Booka Shade, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ T and more, the album was also picked up by legendary South African Powerhouse House label, House Afrika for Physical CD distribution. preceding this, Jazzuelle has been steadily releasing music on labels like Atjazz Record Company, Foliage Records, Lazy Days Recordings, Phat Elephant Recordings and more, he has remixed legendary acts like WHOMADEWHO and the Acid House Originator DJ Pierre on he’s historic What Is House Music Anthem. With a diverse range of inspirations including Brian Eno, Rocco, Manoo, Martin Iveson, Ron Trent, J Dilla, Louie Vega, Steve Reich and The Cinematic Ocherstra, he’s music immediately garnered attention for its maturity coupled with an uncanny ability to create a feeling that transcends dancefloors and quite often, expectations... 


Jazzuelle most recently became the highest rated South African artist on Traxsource.com’s annual list on the Top 100 Deep House Artists List for 2015 debuting at number 67. he was also picked up by the esteemed Red Bull Studios in 2013, which consequently led him to play a part in the renowned Red Bull Music Academy (Bass Camp) which was held in Johannesburg’s Alex Theatre boasting 30 of the most talented, forward - thinking artists in South Africa like Okmalumkoolkat, Fever Trails, Card On Spokes and more. Following this, he’s headlined and appeared on events such as Sonar Festival, Glastonbury Festival, Beatport's Annual Live Stream Party In Barcelona’s W Hotel alongside Claptone, Noir, and Nakadia, OFF Sonar Weekend at City Hall Barcelona with M.A.N.D.Y, ANDHIM and the Get Physical Team which also included the Desolat, Octopus Recordings and the Minus Records label nights, Jazzuelle has been one of the most consistent exports coming out of South Africa playing and sharing the international stages with some of the most successful powerhouses in electronic music like the likes of DJ T, Detroit Swindle, Eli&Fur, Stimming, Souldynamic, Bedouin, Davis, Loco Dice, Tale Of Us, KINK, Cats & Dogz, Eats Everything, Richy Ahmed, ANNA, Nicole Moudaber, Sven Weisemann, Gardens Of God, Culoe De Song, Black Coffee, The Pet Shop Boys, 2ManyDJ’s, The Bloody Betroots, Manoo and so much more 

After a year and a half hiatus from releasing music, Jazzuelle announced he’s debut album Circles on June 16 2017, this time on Get Physical which cemented he’s position as one of electronic music's hottest new stars, with enthusiastic support from international media including, Pulse Radio, DJ Mag, Attack Magazine, Traxsource News, Electronic Groove, Red Bull Studios, IDM Mag plus airplay support on Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, 5fm, Metro fm, Khaya fm and more. 

2017 promises much for Jazzuelle, The Circles Debut Album has already been featured and had reviews on Beatport, Juno Download, Traxsource and reached the number 1 spot on the electronic music chart on Itunes. In addition to the new releases and remixes currently in the works, Jazzuelle has a busy album tour schedule which has packed out venues in South Africa and has has already taken him to Croatia at Suncebeat Festival and a booking schedule that spans as far as North America, Europe and The UK.
